Join the Susquehanna River Trail Association for the first annual Great Susquehanna Adventure on the Susquehanna River Trail on Saturday, June 30, for prizes, t-shirts, and a fun day on the river. You supply your own canoe or kayak and PFDs. There will be safety boaters out on the course at the tricky spots. There are three events for various levels of interest and physical intensity.
The Susquehanna River Trail project promotes environmentally responsible recreation on the Susquehanna River and its islands. The trail encourages resource awareness, stewardship, and conservation. Originally spearheaded by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, the Susquehanna River Trail is the first modern water trail in the Chesapeake Bay watershed and one of a growing number of water trail projects in North America.
