Congaree River Blue Trail Dedication & Inaugural Voyage
Saturday, June 2, 2007, 10 a.m.
West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater
Columbia, South Carolina
Join us as we dedicate the Congaree River Blue Trail as the nation’s first under American Rivers’ Blue Trail Initiative.
Bring your boat and take part in the inaugural 4-mile paddle down the Congaree River to Cayce Landing following the dedication ceremony.
Pitch in at cleanups of the Saluda, Broad, and Congaree Rivers on this first day of National River Cleanup Week and enter to win a kayak! You must be present to register for the kayak.
Be sure to return to the Amphitheater for live music, food, and fun. For those who can’t join us, stay tuned. I’ll be posting updates live from the festivities.
